When we moved from Clemson to be closer to our jobs in Greenville, we found an incredible recently renovated rental house that fit our needs perfectly - except it didn't have a garage or storage building for all my tools and ongoing carpentry projects. Our landlord agreed to allow us to build a shed in the backyard, so Elisa and I put together a design, material take-offs, and framing plan. The foundation was crafted by post and beam in order to navigate the severe drop-off on the property, and the 2x construction was engineered based on the weight of the equipment we intended to store inside.
