In 2018, Reverb purchased 18 acres of land in the St. Augustine Florida World Golf Community to establish a permanent broadcast campus. Reverb is dedicated to exploring community outreach opportunities, therefore they wanted to develop a campus that would be open throughout the week and could become a local hub. Through the concept development process, Equip developed a masterplan and conceptual design for a 750 seat first-phase auditorium that included community-focused features such as a Reverb branded cafe, an outdoor playground, and a landscaped plaza. The front-loaded lobby features a large curtainwall glass facade to light the lobby with natural daylight, while an angular canopy shields the space from some of the heat gain, and allows lobby functions to spill outdoors. The lobby and canopy were also designed to prepare the campus for eventual expansion into a future adjacent 1200 seat auditorium.
